  • Stress

  • Depression and sadness

  • Grief

  • Anger

  • Low self-esteem

  • Relationship problems

  • Family conflict

  • Coping with traumatic experiences

Relationship Counseling

It is not unusual for relationship conflict to develop between people who are important to each other. Those you really care about often have the ability to make you feel the best you've ever felt, but also can set off deep sadness, loneliness, or anger. My goal in relationship counseling is to help you and the person you care about work together as a team and improve your intimacy, caring, and appreciation of each other. I teach communication skills, encourage relationship-strengthening behaviors, and help you better understand how your relationship works. Relationship counseling is ideal for all types of couples, including those who are married, partnered, dating , live together, or engaged, but is also appropriate for parents and their children, siblings, adult children and their parents, friends, or co-workers.

I help romantic couples improve their conflicts related to:

  • Communication

  • Finances

  • Raising children

  • Sex & sexuality

  • Extended family and in-laws

  • Time management

  • Broken trust

  • Infidelity or betrayal

Relationship counseling is also appropriate for:

  • Resolving conflicts and misunderstandings
